📖 Scripture:

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High

Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress;

My God, in Him I will trust.’” — Psalm 91:1-2

💥 Empowerment :

Psalm 91 begins with a picture of safety, rest, and trust in God. The “secret place of the Most High” is a spiritual posture—living in constant fellowship with Him. When you stay close to God in prayer, worship, and obedience, you remain under His covering, no matter what is happening around you.

The shadow of the Almighty is a symbol of protection—like a child walking under the shade of a loving parent, shielded from the burning sun. David makes it personal: “I will say of the Lord…” Meaning, faith is not silent; it declares trust in God despite threats, fears, or uncertainties.

When life feels unstable, you can boldly confess: “The Lord is my refuge, my fortress, my God.” This is not wishful thinking—it is truth for those who dwell in His presence.

🔥 Practical Takeaway:

Make daily fellowship with God your secret place.

Speak out loud your trust in Him when fear comes.

Remember: the safest place on earth is under His shadow.

Father, thank You for being my refuge and fortress. Help me to dwell in Your presence daily and not be shaken by fear or circumstances. I declare that You are my God, and in You I put all my trust. Cover me and my family today under the shadow of Your wings, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
